Our Story

Hi there! If you've dug this far in our website, we're glad you're interested in working with us, and it's nice to (virtually) meet you!

We're Christian & Shelby Hallman, Owners of Bear-Handed Construction. We've lived in Central Florida for almost 7 years, and we are originally from Alabama (Roll Tide). Christian has worked in construction for 15+ years, spanning several states, projects, and companies; after so many years of experience, we felt it was time to venture out and start our own family-centric construction company. So we took a leap of faith, and here we are!

Christian (who Shelby has nicknamed Bear) handles the construction and project management side of things, and Shelby handles more back-of-office items, with a background in operations and finance (brains & brawn). Both are needed to run a quality construction company and family. We have two natural sons, and several adopted spiritual children, with faith and family being the center of everything we do. We're excited about the possibility of collaborating with you on whatever your need may be!
